If you have back pain that you can literally put your thumbs on, we’re going to show you how to get rid of it and show you a strategy to make sure it doesnt come back!
The team at Island Therapy and BestHonoluluMassage.com has tried this method as explained by Jeff Cavaliere at Athlean-X and we think he’s onto something. Jeff suggests a several step process. The first step is to understand where the pain is actually coming from. Next, it’s a good idea to attempt to figure out why you’re having the pain in the first place. Are you sitting too much, or in an uncomfortable chair? Are you doing something wrong in the gym?
Is pain coming from your Gluteus Medius?
In the example in this video, Jeff suggests that your pain might be coming from your Gluteus Medius. Often times, we see people who are quite strong but they have an imbalance or weakness in the Gluteus Medius. You can test for a weakness or imbalance on yourself by standing on one leg first, the the other. Are you completely balanced or do you rock from one side to the other? If you’ve found a weakness here, check out the video for an example of a great exercise where you make an abduction movement with each leg.
